History Writers Call

We are in urgent need of writers for the town history project of the Center that is commissioned by theProvincial Government. Ka Bino has already helped by accommodating us in his Sunday program, but very few have responded. We have also sent a press release to the local papers (I think only CDN published it). The municipal governments have not been as cooperative as expected, and I'm afraid we'll fall behind schedule. The training of the writers is tentatively scheduled on Dec. 7-8 at the Aboitiz Center and we're hoping to keep that schedule. If you or anybody you know are/is interested to write the history of a town or city, kindly get in touch (or ask him/her to get in touch) with me at tel. 2531000 local 183 (linda) or 207 (rene alburo), by email at bisayangdaku@yahoo.com or cellphone 09107272112. We need to see a CV and if possible, a sample of writing. I'm now attaching the powerpoint presentation that we sent to the Provincial Capitol for showing during the signing of the MOA that was witnessed by GMA.The pay is very good, by the way. I have asked the project administrative assistant to list the towns/cities without any takers yet and will send this to you as soon as I get it.
Thank you for your attention, and regards,
Linda Alburo
